The Israeli army on Sunday (November 12) released videos it said showed its ground operation in the Gaza Strip.
Reuters was not able to independently verify the location or the date when the videos were filmed.
In a statement, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) said soldiers of the Harel Brigade have been operating in the Elkarmen area, between Beit Hanoun and Jabalia, in recent days.
"During the operations, the soldiers eliminated enemy forces and terrorist infrastructure, including long-range rocket launchers aimed at Israel, anti-tank missile launchers, terrorist tunnel shafts and Hamas observation posts," the statement continued.
The Middle East has been on edge since Hamas terrorists rampaged into Israel on Oct. 7, killing 1,200 people.
Since then, Israel has escalated its assault on Gaza, where 11,078 people had been killed as of Friday (November 10), 40% of them children, according to Palestinian officials backed by Hamas (these figures cannot be independently verified) .
