A deadly earthquake has struck northwest China. Rescue efforts are underway to find survivors and casualties of the earthquake that was centered near the border between Gansu and Qinghai. At least 120 people have been confirmed dead, according to Chinese state media, and more than 700 have been reported injured. The China Earthquake Networks Center says the quake measured 6.2 in magnitude, while the United States Geological Survey rates the tremor at a 5.9-magnitude.
