Rescue efforts in northern India have been halted over fears the tunnel could cave in more.

40 men have been trapped in the tunnel for almost a week after landslides in the northern Indian state of Uttarakhand caused a partial collapse.

Rescuers have been trying to drill through the rubble to free the workers since Sunday.

According to officials, the trapped workers are already falling sick.
