5. SOUNDBITE (Arabic) Salah Zoarub, local resident, relative of man whose house was hit by airtrike:
"We heard a strong hit that shook homes. We ran outside and found people under the house. There were 20 people inside it, and around it were houses of displaced (people) from Gaza, living with one of our relatives, the journalist, Adel. 100 people from Gaza were residing with him, ten people among them were killed, and dozens injured.“

“Approximately 15 people are still under the rubble, including elderly, young women, and children. We found children scattered far from the site. May God be sufficient, nine people were killed in Adel's house, and Adel the journalist was the tenth. Only in Adel's house, my cousin was sleeping in his home, and his tendays old baby was killed and a two years old daughter died too. They have passed away."

STORYLINE:
Israeli airstrikes overnight killed at least 28 people in Gaza’s southern city of Rafah overnight, including children and women.
Their bodies were brought to two hospitals in the city, according to Associated Press journalists.
Twenty-five bodies of those killed in one strike that hit a house were brought to the Kuwaiti hospital in Rafah.
Most of the dead were from the Zoughroub family, but among them were also displaced people who were sheltering there, according to an Associated Press journalist at the hospital.
The house belonged to a local journalist.
Another strike killed at least three people, whose bodies were taken to Abu Yousef al-Najjar hospital, according to another AP journalist.
