More than 350 mineworkers at the Gold One Mine in Springs have staged another sit-in underground. A similar situation played out almost two months ago when rival unions the National Union of Mineworkers and the Association of Mineworkers and Construction Union saw hundreds of workers stuck underground for three days. The National Union of Mineworkers says it cannot confirm whether this is a sit-in or a hostage situation. The spokesperson for Gold Mine Modder East, Ziyaad Hassam has more.
