Over 400 miners remain underground for the second day at the Gold One Modder East Operations in Springs. The miners were last seen on Thursday when they reported for an evening shift at the mine and have not resurfaced. The current underground sit-in is taking place in solidarity with the dismissed workers who were fired for taking part in the first 3-day sit-in during October.
