The White House has warned the Congress that the US will run out of funds for Ukraine by the end of 2023. The White House budget chief said failure to agree on fresh aid would allow Russia to "kneecap" Kyiv on the battlefield. The NATO chief recently acknowledged that of late, Ukraine’s frontlines have largely remained unchanged as “wars are difficult to plan”. Jens Stoltenberg has warned that “we have to be prepared for bad news” as Ukraine’s counteroffensive has failed to achieve the goal.
