MOMENTS AGO, JUDGE ARTHUR ENGORON AND LETITIA JAMES NAIL TRUMP WITH HEARTBREAKING MOVE IN NEW YORK
The Attorney General of New York, Letitia James, has declared that she will pursue a $370 million fine against Trump and his family in a civil fraud action. Compared to the quarter-billion-dollar number she projected in 2022, this is a much larger sum. The ultimate ruling on Trump's businesses will be made by Judge Arthur Engoron. James reiterated her desire for a more severe penalty and declared her plan to forbid Trump from having any businesses in the state. Michael Cohen, Trump's fixer, said that Trump lacks the liquid assets necessary to settle the lawsuit. In addition, James is stepping up his legal defense of former President Donald Trump in an effort to obtain an additional $120 million in damages. The question in this case is whether Trump avoided taxes by inflating the value of some properties while devaluing others in order to get loans. The decision for the Trumps included a total of $4.2 million in damages and legal expenses. Now, James wants to treble this amount. The Trump family faces fines and other consequences as a result of its noncompliance with the court's decision. James underlined that accountability is required and that the Trump family's avoidance or disobedience will not be tolerated by the legal system. This most recent legal action indicates a protracted battle in the courts and only serves to exacerbate the former president's and his family's legal issues.
