DA FANI WILLIS UTTERLY DESTROYED TRUMP WITH BRILLIANT MOVE IN GEORGIA
In order to look into and maybe remove state prosecutors, such as Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis, who has successfully prosecuted 18 people, including former President Donald Trump, the Georgia Supreme Court has placed a new panel on pause. The commission's instructions were rejected by the court, which expressed skepticism regarding the commission's capacity to monitor district attorneys' extralegal actions. The justices objected to the order, casting doubt on their own jurisdiction and stating that they would not render a decision unless instructed by Congress. Rep. Houston Gaines suggested minimizing prosecutorial bias across the nation by allowing the panel to continue its work but avoiding the court's rule approval. Due to their claims that the committee violates their constitutional rights, four district attorneys are attempting to have it disbanded. Their case, based on the General Assembly's jurisdiction under the Georgia Constitution to impose duties on district attorneys, was unlikely to succeed after a court rejected their bid to halt the law's implementation in September. The law calls into question the prosecutor's discretion in deciding what charges and penalties to bring. It is supported by Republican Georgia Attorney General Chris Kerr. The committee, led by Randy McGinley, the recently appointed district attorney for Newton and Walton Counties, made it apparent that work will not begin on rules until they are completed.
