A mobile speed camera vehicle has been attacked in Melbourne’s north overnight.
Police say a group of five men vandalised the car as it was parked in Coburg.
The mob threw items at the vehicle, causing several of the windows to break, before fleeing.
The 36-year-old operator of the mobile speed camera suffered minor cuts.
He was able to drive away from the scene and seek help.
This comes after Victoria’s mobile speed camera operators walked off the job on the New Year’s weekend over a pay dispute.
