DUCK SAUCE RECIPE
Ingredients
1 cup applesauce (no sugar added)
2 cups 100% apple juice
1/4 cup rice vinegar
½ cup brown sugar (more or less optional)
A pinch of sea salt (optional)
1 tablespoon low sodium soy sauce
2 tablespoons corn starch
Instruction:
Step 1: Put cornstarch in a small dish, add some cold water, mix it up and set aside.
Step 2: Combine all other ingredients together in a saucepan. Use a whisk to stir it up.
Step 3: Turn the heat to medium, bring it to boil, then turn the heat down to low. Let it simmer for 10 minutes.
Step 4: Use a spoon to mix the cornstarch, then slowly drip the cornstarch mixture into the sauce.
Sep 5: Use a whisk to stir the sauce for 1 minute. Turn off the heat.
Let it cool and enjoy!
