Israel’s military chief of staff Herzi Halevi has told IDF soldiers to “take two seconds” if they see people with their hands up or with white flags. This comes as the IDF has published photos showing the signs carried by the three hostages as they were shot dead by Israeli soldiers. An Israeli man who was among three hostages shot dead by the Israeli army in Gaza was laid to rest in Israel on Dec 17. Israel’s military says it has discovered the biggest Hamas tunnel in Gaza so far in the vicinity of a key border crossing. Gaza’s main telecom companies say mobile and internet services have gradually been restored in the central and southern areas of the Palestinian territory. According to Israeli media reports, the Israeli PM does not like the army’s official name for the ongoing war in Gaza and is pushing to change it. Watch the video to find out more.
