Russia disappeared in snow! Cyclone Vanya in Moscow, worst snow in 60 years
A heavy snowstorm caused by a cyclone hit Russia, causing Moscow to experience its heaviest snowfall in the past six decades.
According to local media on Friday 15 December, cyclone 'Vanya', which formed in Eastern Europe had reached Moscow the day before, causing heavy snowfall.
Meteorologists reported that more than a fifth of the average rainfall in December fell on this day alone when the strongest snowstorm in 60 years hit Moscow.
