More than 100 Israeli soldiers have been killed since the beginning of the ground offensive in the Gaza Strip, the Israeli army said Monday. Hundreds more have been injured as Israeli troops pushed deeper into southern Gaza's main city where Hamas's stronghold lies. "Hamas knew this war would ultimately come down to Khan Younis ... they knew this would be the last holdout", ABC News Correspondent Jordana Miller told FRANCE 24, highlighting the initial advantage Hamas fighters had.
