(2 servings of Okonomiyaki)
- 300g cabbage
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup water
- 1 egg
- Katsuobushi
- Green onion
- 4 shrimp
- Teriyaki sauce (can substitute with tonkatsu sauce)
- Mayonnaise
- Parsley
Bite-sized Recipe ๐ง
1. Cut 300g of cabbage into a suitable thickness.
(If it's too thin, it won't have a chewy texture, so slice it into a proper thickness.)
2. Mix 1 cup of flour, 1 cup of water (1:1 ratio), 1 egg, a pinch of Katsuobushi, and a little bit of green onion.
3. Heat a pan low heat, generously oil it, and pour half of the Okonomiyaki batter onto the pan.
4. Shape it into a round shape, cover it with a lid, and cook for 3 minutes (make sure it doesn't burn on low heat).
5. Open the lid, place the shrimp on top, flip it, cover it with the lid again, and cook for another 3 minutes.
(You can use various toppings like squid, shrimp, bacon, according to your preference.)
6. Open the lid, flip it over, and transfer it to a plate.
7. Finish by drizzling Teriyaki sauce, mayonnaise, Katsuobushi, and parsley.
