Russian President Vladimir Putin meets Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in Astana, on the sidelines of the Sixth Summit of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia. The meeting comes after recent fighting between Azerbaijan and Armenia, in which Russia declined to intervene militarily despite its collective security pact with Armenia.
