The Supreme Court of India on December 11 upheld the abrogation of Article 370. As expected, Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry “rejected” India’s Apex Court’s verdict. Pakistan’s Former Envoy Abdul Basit is also worried after India’s Supreme Court’s verdict. Abdul Basit said that Pakistan must be worried about the scrapping of Article 370, 35A. He also condemned former Pakistan PM Nawaz Sharif as he expressed his intention to mend ties with India. Former Prime Minister of Pakistan, Nawaz Sharif wants a better relationship with India. Two Indian Prime Ministers have visited Pakistan during Nawaz Sharif’s tenure as PM. In 1999, former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee visited Pakistan, a few months before Kargil War. In 2015, Prime Minister Narendra Modi landed in Lahore on a surprise visit to meet Nawaz Sharif.
