External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar on Friday said Canada has a "permissive attitude" towards terrorists and extremists who openly advocate violence and such people have been given "operating space" in the country.
Speaking at an event in Washington DC, Jaishankar said, "We consider there is a permissive Canadian attitude towards terrorists, extremists, people who openly advocate violence. They have been given operating space in Canada because of the compulsions of Canadian politics."
