Union External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar on 28 January during the launch of the Marathi version of his book 'Bharat Marg' in Pune, spoke about Pakistan, China and even gave a Mahabharata reference while responding to a question on India’s ‘unusual’ neighbours- He said, ‘Pandavas could not choose relatives, we can't choose our neighbours. Naturally, we hope good sense prevails.’ He further added,’At times there are challenges to national security requiring decisive steps. Obvious example of it is terrorism, we all know how much India has suffered due to terrorism as compared to other countries because other countries don't have a neighbour like the one we have.’
