I use Derek Grippers wonderful arrangement of Malian master musician Toumani Diabaté's piece "Jarabi" (Passion) and my own preparation to alter the sound of the Guitar! Live in concert at Ljungskile Folkhögskola, September-2023. Played by David Hansson. I am 1/2 of the Swedish duo The Gothenburg Combo (the other half is Thomas Hansy). I also teach the Classical Guitar at the Academy of Music in Malmö, Sweden together with my colleague Göran Söllscher. I'll be posting some of my unedited spontaneous renditions of some of my favorite pieces here. Rules are simple: recording is done on a simple mobile phone: no editing, no sweetening, Just one take: warts and all!
