That was faster than I expected, but nonetheless, another MLB postseason has come and gone. Some failed horrifically, some laughably choked, and some unexpectedly got eliminated. The biggest surprise for me was the Arizona Diamondbacks making it not only TO the playoffs, but all the way to the World Series, eliminating heavyweights like the Dodgers and Phillies on the way. But that sadly, wasn't enough as they seemingly ran out of gas in the Fall Classic. The Texas Rangers have officially won their first World Series championship after 51 years of consistent failure.
Top moments like the Twins winning their first playoff game and playoff series, the Phillies beating the heavily-favored Atlanta Braves in the divisional round, the D-Backs sweeping the Dodgers, the Astros not making the World Series for the first time since 2020, the D-Backs eliminating the Phillies in a heavy upset, and the Rangers winning their first franchise title in history. This postseason was eventful in its own right, albeit a very lousy and lobsided ending. Regardless, this postseason has more moments than those aforementioned and it's all on display in this video.
