At the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, team Serbia won the silver medal after losing to team USA in the final game 96–66. A young Serbian player made his first appearance on the Olympic stage during the tournament. His name: Nikola Jokic! The back then 21-year-old center was one of Serbia's key players for their silver medal.
