STORYLINE:
A helicopter carrying hostages released by Hamas arrived at Sheba Medical Center in Ramat Gan in Israel late on Tuesday night.
It came after Israel said 10 hostages had been released from Hamas captivity in the Gaza Strip. Two foreigners held hostage were also released.
The hostages were flown to hospitals in Israel, where they will be reunited with their families.
30 Palestinian prisoners were released as part of the deal negotiated by Qatar, Egypt, and the United States.
The original four-day ceasefire, which expired Monday, was extended for an additional two days.
