Today we have the high jump event, part of Pentathlon competition during the 2021 European Athletics Indoor Championships. It was held in Torun Poland, a student city famous for being the birthplace of Copernicus
From Poland we have Adrianna Sulek. She began her career at a young age. In 2013, Sulek won the gold medal at the World Championships, the first time a Polish athlete had won a medal in the pentathlon at a major international championship.
Ivona Dadic from Austria was born in 1993. Dadic's greatest triumph came at the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo, where she won silver with a stunning performance. Her victory cemented her status as one of the greatest pentathletes of all time.
Holly Mills, the British pentathlete is a rising star in the world of athletics. In 2021, Mills won the European Under 23 Championship in the pentathlon. She followed that up with a 4th place finish at the World Indoor Championships in 2022
Anna Ligarska from Poland. Ligarska began her athletic career as a heptathlete, but switched to pentathlon. In 2019, Ligarska won the European Under 23 Championship in the pentathlon, signaling her arrival as a force to be reckoned with.
María Vicente from Spain. In 2018, Vicente won the European under 18 Championship in the pentathlon, setting a new world record for the age group. In following season she won a gold medal at the European U20 Championships in 2019.
