فالهمُّ فوقَ ذُنوبِهِ والآهُ فَوقَ الآهْ
واشَوقَاهُ للعَفوِ والغفرانِ والتّقوى
لُطفًا بِهِ.. عفوًا.. رِضى.. رُحماكَ يا اللهْ
يا خالقَ الصُّبحِ المُنيرِ اللّيلُ فينا طالْ
والظَّهرُ مَحنِيًّا غدا من شِدَّةِ الأحمالْ
سُحُبُ الهمومِ شديدةٌ وبلاؤُنا هطّالْ
فرّج همومًا تعتري الأرواحَ يا اللهْ

واحُرقَةَ الصّبِّ المُعَنّى كم بكَتْ عيناهْ
يرجوكَ في الظُّلْماتِ تعفو عنهُ يا اللهْ
واشَوقَاهُ للُّطفِ والرّحماتِ في البلوى
لُطفًا بِهِ.. عفوًا.. رِضى.. رُحماكَ يا اللهْ
نبكي على غفلاتِنا في غمرةِ الأوزارْ
غرقى بها.. أرواحُنا تخشى عذابَ النّار
جاءتْ رَجاءَ صَلاحِها في باحةِ الأنوارْ
ترجوكَ فاغفِرْ.. أصلحِ الأحوالَ يا اللهْ

لَيلُ الكَسيرِ بِعَتْمِهِ خَوفٌ من الأخطارْ
وأمانُهُ لُقيا الشّفيعِ المجتبى المختارْ
أمِّنهُ ربّي جُدْ على المحتارِ بالأسرارْ
لُطفًا بِهِ.. عفوًا.. رِضى.. رُحماكَ يا اللهْ
الشَّوقُ فَوقَ الشّوقِ زادَ النّارَ في الأحشاءْ
للمصطفى أحلى الورى والقبّةِ الخضراءْ
أناْ كلّما ذُكِرَ النّبيُّ يهونُ كلُّ بلاءْ
فارحَمْ عُبَيدَكَ باللِّقا والقُربِ يا اللهْ
My broken heart, at night, called: O Allāh.
It is overburdened with distress. Agonies upon agonies.
It longs for being pardoned and forgiven, and it longs to attain piety.
Pardon the heart, accept it and have mercy upon it O Allāh.
O Creator of the of the illuminating morning rays, the nights of hardships have become long.
My back has hunched over due to the unbearable loads.
The clouds of calamities are cluttered and hardships are pouring forth.
Alleviate the heartbreaking hardships, O Allāh.
How distressed is the heart, how many tears the eyes have shed
The heart, amidst the pitch darknesses, seeks your forgiveness, O Allāh.
Pardon the heart, accept it and have mercy upon it O Allāh.
We cry over our shortcomings, sins amongst the numerous sins.
Drowning, [in the sea of disobedience], our souls fear the torture of Hellfire.
It has come to the lights [of guidance] seeking to become righteous.
It asks You, for forgiveness. So, make our situations better, O Allāh.
During the dark nights, he who is overpowered fears the dangers.
He seeks to meet you, O intercessor, the chosen one who’s glorified.
Pardon the heart, accept it and have mercy upon it O Allāh.
The heart increasingly longs for you, and the fires [of love] are inwardly ablaze.
Longing for al-Muṣtafā - the most beautiful of the creation - and longing for the Green Dome.
Whenever the Prophet is mentioned in my presence, the hardships become easier.
So, have mercy upon Your slave and grant him to be near the Prophet, O Allāh.
