A holiday has been declared for schools and colleges in Chennai on Friday as several areas continued to be affected by floods triggered by Cyclone Michaung, which made landfall on Tuesday.
In the aftermath of the cyclone, Chennai has been facing power disruptions in various areas and suburbs. Schools and colleges in Chennai were shut on Thursday as well.
