Nantawarrina was the first Indigenous Protected Area (IPA) created in Australia, and in 2023 celebrated its 25th anniversary.
In September 2023, the Nipapanha community celebrated the success of the Nantawarrina IPA and the IPA system as a whole with guests from around the state. Guests were treated to a site visit to the big Moro, one of the beautiful landscapes and attractions of the Nantawarrina IPA.
