Residents in Brisbane and its surrounding areas woke up to a thick blanket of fog covering the city on Thursday morning.
The clouds dissipated as quickly as they appeared.
It comes after south east Queensland was also smashed witih thunderstorms on Wednesday night.
Lightning, destructive winds, heavy rain and large hailstones hit several regions.
Severe storm warnings littered the coast on Wednesday from Queensland to the NSW border with Victoria, and despite the storm fronts moving south, there’s a possibility it could return to more populated areas.
