Elon Musk has visited the ruins of Israeli Kibbutz Kfar Aza with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
The Kibbutz, situated near the border with Gaza, was attacked by Hamas on October 7.
Mr Netanyahu and Mr Musk reportedly discussed the security aspects of artificial intelligence during the visit, the Israeli Prime Minister's office said.
Israel also revealed it had reached an agreement 'in principle' over using Mr Musk's SpaceX company's Starlink communications in the Gaza Strip, where a pause in the war with Hamas coincided with the tech entrepreneur's visit.
Mr Musk's office has yet to comment on the trip.
Israeli President Isaac Herzog has also scheduled a meeting with Mr Musk for later in the day. They will be joined by relatives of hostages held by Hamas in Gaza and will also discuss "the need to act to combat rising antisemitism online", Mr Herzog's office said.
