The UN, citing Palestinian authorities, says over 14,800 Palestinian have been killed since October 7. Israel authorities say more than 1,200 Israelis were killed in Hamas’ surprise attack on Israel. A four-day truce is now in place but experts and protesters around the world say it is not enough.
