Families of the first Israeli hostages released by Hamas have spoken of their relief and happiness, as well as their fears for those who remained in captivity, as authorities prepared for another exchange as part of a planned four-day truce.
About 14 Israeli hostages are expected to be released today, in exchange for 42 Palestinian prisoners held in Israeli jails, all of them women and minors.
On Friday, 13 Israeli hostages were freed under a temporary ceasefire deal with Hamas in which 39 Palestinians were released from Israeli prisons. The exchange was greeted with jubilation.
