STORYLINE:
A South Korean civic group placed 2,000 pairs of shoes on a street in Seoul on Friday to pay tribute to Palestinians killed in the ongoing war between Israel and Hamas.
The group said the shoes symbolize those who were killed in the deadly clash that has been going on for almost 40 days.
The group criticized Israel for bombing hospitals in Gaza and attacking civilians. The group also called for an immediate ceasefire and demanded Palestinians to be freed.
