FAQ:
1. Did you literally title your own speech the "Best HS Graduation Speech Ever"?
- Yes.
2. Can only valedictorians give speeches?
- No. Usually that is the case, however this particular school always has try-outs after which speakers are selected by judges. Valedictorians are generally given preference, but the speaker here is not a valedictorian (:
3. What's his Twitter?
- @AeliosArt, but nobody does Twitter anymore. Try Instagram (@AeliosArt or @ChaseDahlaBillz).
4. Did you really use popular and controversial issues and topics of the time to form hyperbolic jokes about graduating?
- Yes, it was done just like that.
5. Is this really the "best HS graduation speech ever"?
- Yes, probably.
6. He's full of himself, right?
- Oh yes, of course.
7. Is he gay?
- I am straighter than the line of the graph f(x) = x. Thanks for asking, though.
8. Was the title at least in part a social experiment?
- Yes it was.
9. Was the title at least in part a joke for the originally intended audience of the speaker's friends, family, etc., and not actually a shameful attempt to become famous by using a click-bait title?
- Yup, good job. Wow.
10. What have you done since graduation?
- Shortly after this, I left on a volunteer religious mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (you'd probably know them as the Mormons. ...Yup, those guys!) I was assigned for 2 years to Japan. I returned home in Summer 2017. I've attended school for International Business and returned to Japan in Jan. 2020 for study abroad. I am also an artist (see my work @AeliosArt) doing painting, digital artwork, graphic design, etc. That's pretty much it.
