When ALL the lights LIGHT UP on your Dash and they STAY LIT while driving!!!
FEB 2022 UPDATE: So car is FIXED. Subaru gave me $363 for the six weeks I drove a dangerous vehcile with non-functioning warning systems! One months lease payment! That's what my safety, and my family and everyone around us seems to be worth. Very sad indeed Subaru! Candace did the minimal expected at best for you at Subaru! Shame, shame, shame. I've traded in said vehicle and reluctantly leased a new 2023 Forester.... so on with THIS issue....

Here's part of the issue my friends, you see for years I told my Subaru Clients "Oh, when they all lights up like that, it's Subaru's way of getting you to take the car immedately, or asap, to be checked out..." Its what I, and many others came to know as the Christmas Tree Effect and an early indicator to get the car to the dealership immediately!!!
Never did I expect them to go through this when I became just a customer to Subaru (not RK, I want to make this clear, RK Subaru is the BEST Subaru Dealership I've ever associated with, this is NOT their fault)!!! I am still not quite sure about how I feel about all of this, as the service writer (not a tech) called it “got good & bad news”.
Why am I sacrificing my and my family's, friend's or others safety in a Subaru all because of a Thermo Control Sensor???
Was also told, re the 3yr/36K "oh it's ok, we noted it in time... However how would I sell this car today, tomorrow, ect while it's in the warranty period, which earlier I had inquired about... Who would buy it like this?!
How would I know if anything else went wrong or was malfunctioining if ALL the lights just stayed on?!
All I wanted was one of the safest cars, and, as a senior citizen, to feel good when I left. Video says it all. sigh
UPDATE 10/20: A week has gone by, no one has reached out via email, text or voicemail regarding this. I have gone to the Subaru website and noted this as a complaint. Am still awaiting a response. I have driven the car everyday as the Service Writer led me to believe its ok. No issues OTHER THAN the lights are on and Eye Sight is off, including RAB, Cruise Control, ect. And with all this I have placed an order for a New 2023 Forester to arrive in January. And the beat goes on...
UPDATE 12/18: It sure seems to me that after I made such a deal with Subaru Customer Service, that after I told them RK via emails, the part appeared and they fixed the car after driving it some 2000 miles or more. Now, they don't even reply - well, at least up until this point. I have sent another email to several email addresses in the attempt of getting something in lieu of their unsafe driving conditions I was allowed to operate this vehicle under, and for the time it took to get this to Subarus attention whereby they just forgot all about me after they fixed it. Does this mean this is how ALL OF MY CLIENTS who bought Subarus from me are now treated? Did they get ALL the 'backordered' Crosstreks fixed, or was I the squeaky wheel that got a part pulled off the assemply line, overnighted to the dealership, and fixed in an attempt to make me go away??? Sorry, folks I need answers or something that satisfies my close calls while driving an unsafe Subaru.
January 2023 Update, Car is running fine, Subaru Corporate has some corporate rep "Candace" saying she'll send me one months lease payment after I can PROVE I made my last payment??? WTF?
I guess $363 pays for four of the six weeks of driving in fear and putting others at risk. smh. I sure hope they FIX the problem before someone is hurt due to it.
