Ukrainian tanks blasted Russian fighting positions near the city of Bakhmut. Tankers of the 3rd Assault Brigade captured this video to the south of the city. It shows tank crews in the heat of battle, blasting Russian defences with cannons. The Russians are dug into tree-lines because it makes them harder to see. But the tank crews find them out none-the-less, and pummel them with shells.
That destroys the defences and kills the Russians so Ukrainian forces can advance. The 3rd Brigade is fighting to the south of Bakhmut, which is in the Donbas region. They recently helped capture the town of Andriivka, but have not stopped there. Ukraine’s men are continuing to advance east, with the aim of surrounding Bakhmut. They hope to take the city back, and destroy Russian forces currently holding it.
