Vijay Kapoor (Amitabh Bachchan), a successful businessman, lives happily with his family. His son Ajay (Akshay Kumar) has came back to India after completing his studies abroad. Soon Rajesh Purohit (Mohnish Behl) enters the family, and impresses Vijay with his efficiency. He also charms his daughter, Priti (Juhi Chawla), and they get married. But Purohit has ulterior motives. He wants to ruin the family and take over Vijay's fortune. Now the father-son duo must fight to regain their business and position.
