F-35, Israel's Advanced Jet Attacks Gaza Airspace
The F-35 fighter jet continues to be developed with the latest technology. One of them is Technology Refresh 3 or known as TR-3.
a U.S. Air Force experimental test pilot, piloting missions with tail number AF-7, a flight test aircraft with special instruments and the first with the TR-3 upgrade installed.
TR-3 provides the computing power to support modernized Block 4 capabilities for the F-35 including: a new sensor suite, more long-range precision weapons, enhanced electronic warfare features, more robust data fusion, and increased cross-platform interoperability. These capabilities give the fighter the combat advantage to identify, track, engage, and defend against advanced air, ground, and cyber threats.
TR-3 significantly upgrades core processing power and memory capacity, allowing the F-35 to run advanced software packed with state-of-the-art warfighting capabilities.
