Several alerts remain in place for parts of British Columbia on Thursday after the province received a heavy dump of snow.
British Columbians woke up to an icy morning commute after temperatures dropped to well below zero overnight, creating slippery conditions for drivers and pedestrians. And more snow and freezing rain is in the forecast for Vancouver Island and across the Lower Mainland.
