Rebel News journalist Avi Yemini says all he wanted was an apology from Victoria Police after being wrongfully arrested covering protests in Melbourne.
Victoria Police has formally apologised to Mr Yemini for wrongfully arresting him on three separate occasions during protests in 2020 and 2021.
"We fought for two years for police to give this simple apology – which is what I wanted from day one," Mr Yemini told Sky News host Andrew Bolt.
"I only wanted it ... so that I could continue to do my work freely."
