Royal biographer and commentator Angela Levin has blasted Prince Harry and Meghan for naming their daughter after the Queen's nickname, Lilibet.
Ms Levin's comments come as a new book called Charles III: New King, New Court, The Inside Story, written by Robert Hardman, alleges that the Queen was "furious" after Meghan and Harry used her private nickname.
"This thing about Lilibet is very interesting - I at the beginning thought that it was a terrible thing to do to take a very private name and use it," she told Sky News host Paul Murray.
"I couldn't believe that Harry and Meghan said that she gave them the go-ahead and it would be alright.
"Partly because Meghan had already put down the name Lilibet Diana on a domain on the internet.
"That meant that quite obviously, in the future, she would want to use that name to buy things to promote programs and all those things, and it would inevitably draw the Queen into that which I thought was beyond rude."
