Elon Musk said migrants “will come for your homes” in response to reports that New York City students were forced to work remotely this week so asylum seekers could camp out in their school’s gym. NY Post Business Reporter Shannon Thaler shares this story.
“This is what happens when you run out of hotel rooms. Soon, cities will run out of schools to vacate. Then they will come for your homes,” Musk said in an X post in response to a video of a yellow school bus dropping migrants off at James Madison High School in Brooklyn on Tuesday.
“School is closed tomorrow because illegals will be sleeping in the school’s gym. This is disgraceful! NYC is prioritizing illegals over Americans,” wrote LibsofTikTok, which shared the footage.
The migrants were moved into the school around 5 p.m. on Tuesday as a storm precaution, with local officials concerned that torrential rains and powerful winds would collapse a massive migrant tent at Floyd Bennett Field.
