As the countdown to the 2024 presidential election continues, President Tsai Ing-wen pointed out that there are 14 counties and cities in Taiwan currently under Kuomintang (KMT) administration. She warned that if the KMT wins the presidential election and secures a majority in the legislature, it could ultimately lead to "undermining Taiwan." In response, Kuomintang Vice Presidential candidate Eric Chu criticized the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) for its complete control of the government and the majority in the Legislative Yuan, arguing that Taiwan is currently being mismanaged under the DPP's "complete governance and complete chaos" approach.
