The video is a lullaby modification of the traditional Christmas carol "Deck the Halls." The melody is Welsh, dating back to the sixteenth century. It belongs to a winter carol, "Nos Galan," while the English lyrics, written by the Scottish musician Thomas Oliphant, date to 1862. Lullabies not only provide nice sleep for babies and children, but they help them to establish a bedtime routine, decrease stress levels, stimulate language and cognitive development, regulate emotions, and create a stronger bond between parent and child.
