The conflict between Israel and Hamas has left no one indifferent; every country in the world has taken a position, usually in favour of one or the other. However, Saudi Arabia is an exception, as, weighing the general sentiment of its population towards the Palestinian cause against its economic interests, it must be careful not to throw away its options.
However, many suggest that #SaudiArabia may be keen on an Israeli victory, both for the greater regional stability it could bring to the region, and to avoid a possible Iranian-led escalation of the Houthi #conflict in #Yemen.
