Psychologist Dr Jordan Peterson warns people on the progressive side of politics are generating an endless sequence of an “unnecessary culture war”.
Dr Peterson sat down with Sky News Australia host Piers Morgan to discuss the upcoming US election, the Israel-Hamas war and political activism in the entertainment world.
The public intellectual warned there is “nothing more toxic” than a victim-victimised narrative.
“The left, in particular, has become 100 per cent preoccupied with the most pathological possible political narrative, which is essentially a victim-victimiser story that you can understand every element of social interaction among humans, from marriage upwards to the political, in terms of who's got the power and who’s the oppressed,” he said.
“And there's nothing in that but an endless recipe for not only the most bitter of soul-devouring resentments but for the application of any form of vengeance imaginable.”
