The world is awaiting a decision by the International Court of Justice (ICJ), on whether or not Israel has indeed committed acts of genocide in Gaza. Last week the International Court of Justice heard South Africa's case accusing Israel of breaching the UN Genocide Convention in the Gaza war, during a three-month conflict that has seen more than 20 000 people killed, and scores displaced. South Africa took Israel to the International Court of Justice accusing it of carrying out a genocide in Gaza. Israel's legal team on the other hand- said South Africa's claim was baseless and they had failed to make the case. To look at the ICJ's next move we're joined in the studio by the head of diplomacy and foreign policy at the University of Johannesburg, Professor Chris Landsberg and virtual by the Senior Lecturer Department of Political Science University of Pretoria, Dr Sithembile Mbete.
