Barkha Dutt LIVE: As the countdown begins for the grand Ram Mandir inauguration in Uttar Pradesh's Ayodhya, the temperature in the political corridors has soared in the biting cold season.
The Congress party is itself a divided house following the party high command's decision to turn down the invitation to attend the Ram Mandir consecration ceremony on January 22. Some leaders of the party have openly opposed the move.
BJP was quick to lash out at the grand old party calling it "anti-hindu". There are also reports that Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav and BSP's Mayawati have been invited to the Mandir opening event.
