The Suite in g-minor is also one of the cello suites,No 5,and it’s interesting to compare these two versions. And amazing to find how well written for the baroque lute this version is. Bach was certainly very familiar with the instrument and we also know that he met Silvius Leopold Weiss several times and heard him play.
I have corrected one note where I’m sure, believe it or not,Bach was thinking in the wrong clef and wrote a very strange chord which also doesn’t sound like that at all in the cello suite.
The chord is at 1:50 in my video.
I play my 11-str guitar made by Georg Bolin 1974.
