Hi, this is BAZA. My name is Anatoly Suleymanov. Recently we have published several stories about our trip to Afghanistan. We shared our interview with one of the Taliban leaders, the terrorist organization banned in Russia. Also, we told you about the street food in Kabul. But all those stories were only starters before the main dish – our new film about the new, unrecognized by anyone in the world, “The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan”. On September 11 our dream team (our cameraman and I) crossed the border of Afghanistan. By the way, in order to do it, we had to receive accreditation. Many journalists applied for it to the Embassy, but we chose another way. We sent a message to the Taliban spokesman on Twitter, saying that we were coming. And it worked! We spent 9 days in Afghanistan. During that time, we traveled the country from the same north to its capital, the city of Kabul. We talked to dozens of people: the Taliban fighters, women, musicians, police officers, sellers at the market, drug addicts… We heard the real stories of real people. We recorded hundreds of gigabytes of video. We will definitely remember those 9 days for the rest of our lives. And I want to share our impressions with you. So, make some tea and get yourself comfy. Enjoy!
