Ah, the final day of the year. Happy new year, everyone!
I'm actually kind of surprised I managed to get this song done in time. It's had a lot of ups and downs during the writing. String based stuff is not my forte, but I enjoy the practice, even if it's fiddly and time-consuming work.
A lot of the instruments in this song are rather dark. I usually try for a more balanced instrumentation, but I felt going for the more natural feel rather than a more produced sound was the right choice for the song.
